Ben Gibbard Seattle Show Announced: Benefit for Teen Feed
Ben Gibbard is playing a solo show - a benefit for Seattle-based non-profit Teen Feed - at The Crocodile in Seattle, WA on Wenesday, November 3rd. A limited number of pre-sale tickets will be available to DCFC Union Local #1138 Members on a first-come, first-served basis starting this Wednesday, August 4th. Regular tickets go on sale this Friday, August 6th at The Crocodile website and Sonic Boom Records.
Teen Feed is a non-profit that operates a seven-nights-a-week meal program for homeless youth and young adults in the University District of Seattle. In 2009, Teen Feed served over 11,000 meals and assisted 60 homeless youth to enter into stable housing. Case managers are present every night for youth in need. Proceeds from this benefit show will directly support Teen Feed's program, and their recent expansion to provide meals for all seven nights of the week. Hollywood Bowl "Transatlanticism" Finale: Video Compilation
A number of fan-made videos popped up on YouTube following Death Cab for Cutie's performance with The L.A. Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl last year. YouTube user CptGabok took a handful of those videos and put them together to make this awesome compilation of the "Transatlanticism" finale!

Benjamin Gibbard & Jay Farrar: New show in Big Sur, CA
In support of the documentary "One Fast Move Or I'm Gone: Kerouac's Big Sur", Benjamin Gibbard and Jay Farrar of Son Volt (who collaborated for the film's soundtrack, available here) will be playing a special show in Saturday, August 14th at the Henry Miller Library in Big Sur, CA. The show also includes screening of the documentary. Tickets for the event are on sale now and available here.

Ben Gibbard Benefit Show: SummerStage Gala
On Tuesday, June 8th, Ben will be performing alongside St. Vincent at the SummerStage 25th Anniversary Celebration in New York's Central Park. The concert starts at 8PM and supports the City Parks Foundation (CPF) and their free year-round arts programming. Benefit packages are available as well as general seating for the show. The Central Park SummerStage is located at Rumsey Playfield (72nd Street, mid park).
